One of the commitments that is particularly important to us is our partnership with Make-A-Wish France, an organisation dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of children living with serious illnesses.
Supporting Make-A-Wish France
For every reservation made at Les Alpages de Val Cenis, €2 is donated to Make-A-Wish France to help bring hope and joy to children facing severe medical conditions.
The mission of the organisation is to grant the wishes of children aged 3 to 17 whose lives are deeply affected by serious illness and intensive medical treatments.
When a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, daily life changes dramatically. Long hospital stays, demanding treatments and emotional fatigue can make it difficult for children to maintain motivation and connection with the outside world.
Granting a wish creates a powerful moment of happiness and hope. Beyond the dream itself, each wish acts as a catalyst for renewed strength and positivity for the child, their family and the entire community supporting them.
Wishes That Bring Hope
Every wish granted by Make-A-Wish France is carefully prepared by trained volunteers who work closely with the child and their family. Each experience is unique and designed with great attention, always respecting the family’s privacy and wishes.
These moments allow children to replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope.
Since its creation in 2003, the organisation has already granted more than 1,000 wishes, bringing unforgettable moments to children and their families.
A Commitment We Share With Our Guests
Through this partnership, guests staying at Les Alpages de Val Cenis also take part in this initiative. Every stay contributes to supporting this mission and helping a child’s dream become reality.
Thanks to our donation, one of the most recent wishes granted by the organisation was for Ismael, a reminder of how meaningful these moments can be for children and their families.
